Saturday Six

1.  Friday Night Date Night
Our last Friday night before I left for St. Marks, David was in charge of planning our date.  He did such a good job.  We spent the majority of the day running last minute errands and trying to get everything I would need for three weeks away from home.  So by the time our date night came around we were both tired.  But he found a way to make the night memorable, fun, and interesting.  While making our Mushroom Soup he printed out 100 questions for couples.  As we chopped, cooked, and ate our homemade soup we took turns asking questions to each other.  The cool thing was even though we know each other very well and could answer some of the questions without asking, there were some answers that were thought-provoking and allowed us to really carry on a deep conversation.
No, he's not crying from the onion he is cutting.  He's looking down at our question list.

After we finished our questions we did our next Saturday Six activity:

2.  Morphling
David morphed a picture of both of us to see what our potential baby might look like.  After being a little weirded out, I think it looks kinda cute.  Of course, I doubt our child is going to look anything like that.  But who knows?!  What do you think?!

3.  Why We Can't Have Nice Things
I got the dogs a squirrel dog toy.  Lexi loves it.  She takes it all over the house with her.  But sometimes Cooper wants to play with it... Let's just say they don't share very well.

4.  Warning Cravings Ahead
For some reason I have been having strong cravings lately.  And they seem to come out of no where.  The other day I was craving a tomato sandwich like nobody's business.  But for some reason , after biting into the sandwich I discovered I didn't like the bread.  Even though I had it earlier that day with a PB&J sandwich.  But I have also devoured half a jar of mini dill pickles in one sitting, craved Cheezits so bad I thought I would die without them, and ate a whole cereal bowl of mild salsa (sweating through it the entire time).  Yes, I have had some strong cravings... but fortunately they haven't been too weird yet.  No strange combinations yet.  I really don't want to look back on my pregnancy and say, "I can't believe I ate that."

5.  Out on the Pier...
While visiting St. Marks in the last couple days.  We like to go down to the pier off the St. Marks River and watch the boats come in.  It surprisingly beautiful weather and if you're in the shade it's a wonderful temperature.  Here are some photos from the pier and the St. Marks Fish Camp that we also drove by and visited.

6.  Non-alcoholic Beer
I have officially taste tested a non-alcoholic beer.  And honestly... it wasn't bad.  I actually liked the taste of it.  I tried O'Doul's.  It was the only non-alcoholic beer our ABC Fine Wine and Spirits had and it didn't disappoint.  Before heading to the liquor store, I did a little research at 11points.com  and was glad that it didn't steer me in the wrong direction.  Not that I had much of a choice, but I was pleasantly surprised by O'Doul's.  The coolest part about this blog at 11points.com was that the guy's pregnant friend tried all the beers with them.  So I got to have a pregnant persons point of view on the beers too.  I wish they had a more vast selection so I could've tried the higher scorers, but I would easily say that I could drink O'Doul's again.
