1. Got Crabs?!
So while I was visiting St. Marks with my parents, I attended their annual Stone Crab Festival. Aside from being bit by an ant, I had a really great time. There were so many arts and crafts tables, food trucks, and funny costumes! My Dad and I bought some stone crab claws and had a blast beating the snot out of them! We took a seat at the table, placed a claw on one of the wooden boards, and whacked the crap out of the claw until it cracked open. Crab juice and shell went everywhere! Basically we took a crab shower and when we got home, the dogs thought we smelled amazing! We had a great time and I was able to get some fun gifts for a few Christmas visitors this year! I hope that next time, David and I can go with the baby and our family! It definitely was a lot of fun.

Had to take this picture. This guy wheeled his pampered pooch all over the festival! |
There was this company who used old WWII machines to make homemade, churned ice cream. |
Dad had a booger I was trying to get for him ;) |

2. Cute Dog Pics of the Past Weeks
While I was in GA, we celebrated Halloween with our family. David and I dressed up (see #3 below) and we even got the dogs involved. Even though it took a couple tries, I think these pictures of our furry children and Cody came out great!

3. Skeleton Baby
David and I knew we would be passing out candy for Halloween this year so we decided to at least have T-shirts to celebrate since costumes would be a bit much. Here are our outfits for Halloween!

4. Baby Room Makeover!
In preparation for the little peanut, David decided to be an amazing husband and paint our nursery while I was gone. It looks amazing and I will definitely post more pictures of the final nursery with all the furniture and such when it's done. But I couldn't be happier with the colors! I just love how it came out! What do you think?!
5. Zax Sauce Dip It!
While I was in GA before my trip to NC, I got to visit with my favorite 19 month old little man and his mama. We decided to eat at Zaxby's and he decided he wanted to try Zax Sauce as face paint. Here's the photo I snapped before we wiped him down to protect his OshGosh clothes!
The Zax Sauce goes really well with his complexion, don't you think? |
6. What Will It Bee?
In NC, my cousin Sissy and aunt Joy threw David and me a wonderful shower. I am hoping to get more pictures from my cousin soon, but these are the few that I snapped before the party got going. Here are the gender reveal cupcakes and cake. They were very tasty and the baby loved all the sugar, I'm sure! :)
These had a TON of icing! |
